About us

We are a small team of dedicated, professional counsellors seeking to provide a safe place and help for problems or issues which trouble people.

These can include: depression, low self-esteem, stress and anxiety, bereavement, redundancy, anger, relationships and issues which couples encounter.

Changes Counselling was launched in the spring of 2010 from a vision to provide professional, affordable, accessible and confidential counselling.

Many problems are the result of broken human relationships, and perhaps a broken relationship with God which may be in need of restoration. Counselling can help to bring needed healing.

The ethos of the service is based on Christian values, but the autonomy of clients is fully respected. All counsellors are practising Christians and the models of counselling used are integrative and therefore suitable for everyone. We do not seek to impose our own beliefs on anyone.

Changes Counselling is affiliated to the Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC). All counsellors are professionally qualified and are committed to continuing personal professional development and supervision. We preserve the respect and confidentiality of all clients, and adhere to the code of ethics and practice of the ACC.
